Victoria Kambala focuses on brand storytelling at SanlamAllianz

SanlamAllianz’s new marketing and communications consultant, Victoria Kambala (30), has brought fresh energy to the role since joining on 1 April.

In simple terms, her job is to ensure the brand is consistently represented across all platforms. From campaigns to everyday marketing materials, she helps shape how people see and connect with the company.

Before joining SanlamAllianz, she worked with clients including Namibia Dairies, Hartlief Namibia and MTC Namibia. These roles gave her hands-on experience and taught her how to balance creative ideas with measurable results.

She holds an honours degree in business management from NUST Namibia.

“I was elated to be joining the blue team," she said.

What stands out in her career is her passion for storytelling and her focus on helping brands connect with people in a real and relatable way, she said.

Of course, the marketing world doesn’t sit still. With AI and new trends constantly popping up, she’s had to stay on her toes. “AI and experimental marketing have pushed me to be more innovative,” she said.

Looking ahead, she’s excited about making brands feel closer to people, not just like big companies. “I see a strong opportunity in bringing brands closer to their communities and positioning SanlamAllianz as a trusted, long-term financial partner,” she shared.

Her new role is more than just a job, she explained.

“This role is an opportunity for growth, personally, to step into my full potential, and professionally, to drive meaningful impact through the brand.”

She hopes to grow into a strong brand leader, building brands that people care about and remember.

She is guided by simple values: be honest, be kind, be brave and be confident.

And if there’s one thing that keeps her going, it’s this: “If a dream matters to you, you won't stop until you make it a reality.”

With that mindset, it’s clear she’s just getting started.
