Eveline Naobes steers EvCon's growth

Eveline Naobes (54), chief executive officer of EvCon Investments since 2019, is a Namibian business leader whose career reflects resilience, service and practical experience gained over many years in the business and hospitality sectors.

Naobes holds a Grade 10 qualification, complemented by extensive hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, leadership and hospitality.

“My story was inspired by a desire to create opportunities, serve people, and build a business that positively impacts communities," she said.

Her leadership philosophy is rooted in service and empowerment. “I believe in servant leadership, leading by example, empowering others, and helping people reach their full potential,” she explained.

This approach has shaped the company culture at EvCon Investments, where teamwork, respect and integrity are central values.

Since becoming CEO in 2019, she has guided the company through growth and challenges, emphasising resilience and adaptability. “Success is built through people. When you invest in people, support them, and treat them with respect, they can achieve remarkable things."

She also encouraged young people to stay focused and disciplined.

“Never allow your background or circumstances to limit your dreams.”

A defining personal value is compassion. “I am deeply passionate about helping vulnerable people and ensuring that no child goes hungry,” she added, reflecting her humanitarian outlook.
